Grassy Mountain Regional Benefits
Regional Benefits
The Crowsnest Pass has a rich mining history with the coal industry significantly contributing to the build and character of the local community.
Mining remains an integral part of Crowsnest heritage and future, with many residents driving many hours daily to skilled mining jobs in the region. Northback, as a partner in the local community, is invested in promoting local prosperity, including supporting local schools, charities, and events.
Some of the regional benefits of our project include:
Business growth through the purchasing of local goods and services
Increased local and regional tax revenue
Investment and charitable contributions to local community initiatives
(including infrastructure, local charities and First Nations scholarships)
Community Involvement
